| Are u the EXCEPTION or are u the RULE??? |
Remember that cute guy who said he 'd call.... and didn't? Maybe he lost ur number, maybe he's busy, maybe he's got family problem, maybe he's sick, OR MAYBE HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO U.... I juts watched this movie "he's just not that into u". well, from my Point Of View, this movie seems longer than it really is, kinda boring in the middle but has a great ending... Dunno why i just love this genre of movie... It tells us a lot of stuff proven to be true n TBH we have already known about it , yet we still lie to ourselves..
Though not all of it can be generalized to all people since it still depends on the cultures, norms, and values we embrace. It doesn't always happen Indonesia but..still.. when we're talking about common sense, nothing really abides by the rules, doesn't it?? In the movie there are 2 kinds of women, the rules and the exceptions.. The rules are those who abide by the rules(never call a guy before he does, let the guy take the initiative) while the exception never abide by the rules(they don't wait for the guys to call them, they take the initiative)..
Hmmm, I have my own classification for the rules and the exceptions.
1. It must be gender-biased free, so the rules n exceptions can be both men and women.
2. It must be orientation-biased free, no matter what ur orientation is.
3. Those who aren't included in neither, are "THE RULECEPTION" (I'll get to that later)
HOW TO KNOW WHETHER U R THE RULES OR THE EXCEPTION?
The RULES:
1. There is a situation. U meet someone u like, then he gives u his phone number and says "keep in touch yeah", u call him, u talk, if he still never calls u in a week after ur last conversation, then u asks ur self "did I say something wrong? is my cellphone signal good? "
2. Ur soon-to-be-boyfriend promises to call u, and he forgets n texts u the next day apologizing, u say to urself, "maybe he's busy, maybe he's got an accident, maybe he's got a lot in mind, bla bla bla.
3. a guy u like likes girls dressing A, while u r more comfortable dressing B, then u change ur appearance, u dresses A.
Then u are the RULES..
The EXCEPTIONS:
1. In situation 1 above, u call him, u talk, if he still never calls u back, then u said to urself, "whatever, if he doesn't like me, there are still a lot of guys out there.'
2. In situation 2 above, if he forgets to call u, u say to urself, "if he really likes me, he will never forget to call me, even if he does, the next minute he remembers he will call me right away.
3. in situation C, u will still dress B coz that's what u are. u ask urself, "if he can't love me for who i am, is he really worth it?"
Then u are the EXCEPTION.
Trust me, when someone really loves u, they will show it. call me stupid, call me idealistic, call me conventional,call me chessy, idc, idc and IDC..coz for me if he can't show u how much he loves u, how can he call himself a man, a lover. It's bullshit when some guys say they are shy, they love someone but they dunno how to show it. guys, when u fall in love, ur world change, u change. WHEN U HAVE FEELINGS FOR SOMEONE, U ACT ON THEM... COZ WHEN U FALL FOR HER/HIM, U WILL BE ALL "GAGA" ABOUT HER/HIM.
WOW i don't realize it's almost 3p.m. already.. i have to get ready to teach, so I'll continue my last classification (THE RULECEPTION) next time ok.
